The Works of

Paul K. Feyerabend

by Matteo Collodel

About this Website

This website thoroughly revises, integrates and updates the bibliography published by Eric Oberheim as "Appendix: The Works of Paul Feyerabend" in Knowledge, Science and Relativism: Philosophical Papers, Volume 3, John Preston (ed.), Cambridge University Press: Cambridge 1999, pp. 227-251.

The chronological bibliography orders Feyerabend's published works by publication year, but includes only the first appeareance in print of the original version of any work (no reprints or translations are included).

The annotated bibliography orders Feyerabend's published works by publication type, indicates all published versions and translations of any item, and specifies if the reprint, German/English version or translation was substantially altered by the author.

It should be emphasized that Feyerabend's German/English versions of his own English/German originals, as well as the reprints of his writings in his own collections of papers can differ, sometimes quite substantially, from their respective original versions. Moreover, notice that some translations of Feyerabend's writings appeared before (in a few cases significantly earlier than) their original versions.
